After a ridiculous quote from another firm, J&S quoted a much fairer price. The guys did a great job and left the place clean and tidy. Would use them again for any future work. || Alex Rhind: This was a large project for us: J&S have fully renovated a 1950s house, which while structurally sound was in need of new heating, glazing, rewiring and insulating to modern standards. We updated the layout to a more open plan layout, refitting and combining the old sunroom and kitchen/dining rooms. A new roof was also installed, and the old dormer refurbished and extended. All the work promised was done. On such a large job it’s inevitable additional work is needed: we were offered good advice and a quote with clear reasons and realistic solutions. Internally the house has been completely refitted, with new bathrooms and a kitchen. The quality of the work is excellent. Everyone Stephen has called upon or works with have been committed to doing a great job and all show attention to detail. They have good reason to be proud of what they do. It has been a real pleasure to work with J&S’s team and I have no hesitation in recommending them. || J & S Builders showed up early and got to work straightaway. The guys were brilliant and the work is superb. Due to a change of plans on our side, we had to ask to delay the work halfway through – there was no issue as J & S Builders were so flexible and reliable. Would definitely recommend.
