My name is John Gallacher and I am the proprietor of James McGurnaghan. We are slaters, plasterers and general builders. Our work ranges in size from small repair and maintenance to full re-roofing and conversions and extensions. We are a family business that was established in 1937. I have been proprietor since 1989. Although we are based in Glasgow, the area we cover extends from Helensburgh to Hamilton and Stirling to Kilmarnock. The builder really listened to what we wanted and offered a lot of ideas and suggestions on details and materials and kept us updated on progress which was very helpful. His attention to detail is excellent and is reflected in the quality of his work which was very reasonably priced. Wish every tradesman was like John. || Rob Casement: Entire roof re-slated, including bay window and rear extension. New flashings and gutters. Exceptional care, courtesy and consideration. The team worked through some atrocious weather without complaint. There was none of the usual shouting, swearing or loud radio which in my book is a big bonus!
