I’m based and live in the heart of East Lothian with my wife, our crazy spaniel and one big black Lab puppy and incidentally, currently renovating and extending our farm cottage near North Berwick – so stay tuned for updates on that on the website! I have been working with homeowners and businesses for over thirty-five years delivering successful projects in Scotland and beyond. In the early days, I worked primarily on larger commercial projects such as hotels, banks, offices, shopping precincts, public houses, schools, universities, and both farm and industrial buildings, here in the UK and in Europe. Over the years I’ve branched out and taken on numerous residential projects from “A” listed buildings to home extensions and attic conversions where all that experience comes in handy! Today helping folks out with their particular projects is very much what I do and enjoy! At the core though, I am still very much a practice with residential architectural expertise at the fore, providing both friendly and hopefully, knowledgeable information to all my clients. My Services My approach from the outset is to offer a full range of architectural services. This means you can unwind, relax, safe in the knowledge that I’ll take care of everything for you. Feasibility studies, planning applications, building warrants, construction, and right through to your completed project – I offer a factual one-stop-shop architectural service and pride myself on finding a balance between how the design can be stretched to make the most of an available budget, whilst bringing new ideas to the table.
