They removed an old extension and a load bearing wall, then built a new extension and fitted a steel beam (and also fitted the new kitchen and insulation). They uncovered several unexpected problems along the way but came up with great solutions (that didn’t add any additional costs to the project). Would 100% recommend. || Karen Jack: Gary and John, refurbished our old dated bathroom, taking it back to brick, and starting over from scratch. They also resized door frames hung 3 new extremely heavy fire doors, replaced and fitted lights to a false ceiling in our stairwell, repaired the floor on our landing and changed and exterior down pipe. I initially planned out the space chose and purchased the fixtures and fittings that I wanted, and Gary checked over my plans to ensure he could achieve what we wanted in the limited space available. The finished result was beyond our expectation, the workmen ship and attention to detail were outstanding. Gary was able to suggest small changes I had not considered, which only enhanced the final finish. They were a pleasure to have in our home, and would highly recommend them to anyone. || Simone: Great experience from start to finish. Previous ratings for ‘Comfortzone’ were 5 star and they did not disappoint. We had our two bedroom flat updated: new boiler, radiators, hob, wallpaper stripped, plastered where needed, painted, decorated, floors and walls tiled in kitchen & bathroom, sink and shower screen replaced, joinery repair work of kitchen cupboards, electrical work etc etc. Gary produced a clear plan of work with time schedule and costings. Not being based in Edinburgh we felt comfortable leaving keys with them to carry out all the work whilst getting weekly WhatsApp updates on progress made. Gary and his team were also happy to be around for carpet fitters to come in which saved us having to travel to Edinburgh. The flat was presented in move-in condition. We can honestly recommend ‘Comfortzone’ and would not hesitate to use them again.
