We’re very happy with the service they provided for us and would happily use them again for any big jobs around the house. || Urgent remedial work was needed to replace joists, floor and shower unit after the discovery of a leak into the cellar which must have been longstanding. Alternatyva appreciated the urgency of the work required and assessed the job very soon after my initial contact. Their estimate was fair and they offered to begin work within a few days. Kris and Bogdan worked very hard to ensure the job was completed in 6 1/2 days ie well within the 7-10 days which they’d estimated. Communication wasn’t always easy, as I don’t speak Polish but face to face and texts via ChatGPT were ok! They left the work area very clean and tidy at the end of each day even though the flat was unoccupied for those few days. They were always polite, courteous and very industrious. Although payment was requested via BACS, Alternatyva understood my need for the insurance which comes with paying via credit card so this was promptly set up online. || Anne Cruikshank: We had a cast iron pipe below our wet room floor had collapsed. Access could only be gained by removing the floor and everything else. They replaced the damaged pipe and,replaced all the plastic pipes then laid a new floor. We decided that as we were having the upheaval we would have a new shower and sink fitted and it’s amazing. The tradesmens work ethics are excellent. Started at 8am and worked a full day to 6pm. They were very tidy and cleaned up every day when they finished work. We are really pleased with the company and are looking to employ them for further work we would like done in our house.
