RCS removed my old boiler and the old pipes then fitted a new boiler with a tado thermostat so that the boiler can be controlled from a sensor on the wall and my phone. The plumber was very neat and tidy and completed the work to a good standard. All waste was removed from my home and the plumber cleaned up after himself. They also put a CCTV camera on the wall for me. I already had the camera but I asked John and one of the guys put it up for me outside. || Gavin and Sharon Boyd: John and the team are worth their weight in gold. We had begun a kitchen renovation and had been let down by an unreliable plasterer. After four weeks, he was still on the week 1 tasks, while the other members of the team waited patiently. We waited too, as we were aware that finding a new plasterer at short notice was going to be a difficult task. When the wait stretched on, we checked Trusted Traders and contacted the RCS Group based on feedback from other customers. We submitted a request on their website on Monday night. On Tuesday morning, we had a call from John before 08:30, followed by a site visit later that day. By the end of the site visit, we had a quote and assurances the team would arrive in the morning. Having had the experience of promised visits followed by silence from the previous plasterer, we were cautious. The outcome was much better than expected. The team arrived in the morning and prepped the room for the plasterer. He arrived that evening, after he had finished a previous job in Edinburgh, and plastered the room. In one day, they had transformed our kitchen and we’re now able to proceed with getting the cabinets in. They were happy to assist us in rapidly getting our project back on track in recognition of the impact of delays on the other tradespeople involved in the project, which is further evidence of their professionalism. The team are hard-working, kind and cheerful. Their work is top notch and they cleaned up as they went.
