He came out straight away and inspected my roof, gave me photographic evidence of the damage and quoted a price within a few days. He was clear in his explanation, didn’t try to blind me with jargon or put the fear in me. His men came out on Saturday and he came on Sunday to finish off. All done and dusted within 7 days. I found him and his men reliable, courteous and friendly and have no hesitation in recommending his company. || Eddie Barclay: General roof repairs on welsh slate roof. Job turned out to be a bit more involved than originally planned, basically due to poor previous repairs by previous owner of the house. Excellent communications with pictures to show the challenge. No pressure to commit to additional work. Really happy with the costs and the team on site. No mess at the end of the day and took care to keep gate closed for my dog. Now have peace of mind to see me through the winter. Would definently recommend and use for any other works. || John Donnelly: I’ve tried quite a few roofing companies over the years and this time went for Burnside, thanks to their reputation and a competitive quote. They carried out major repairs just before storm Amy hit and I was worried, given the age of my roof and past issues, that I might be back to square one afterwards. The only damage I had was one slate moving slightly (which they were happy to return and fix!), so it does look like their advice and repair work has been better than some I have had in the past.
